Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) is for the students whose parent’s annual income is less than 6 lakhs from all sources. This scheme is applicable and mandatory for all Technical Institutions offering Bachelor programs that are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Therefore, even if your father's salary was in the range (6-8)lakhs technically you weren't eligible for it. It might be you're talking about EWS category for which the limit is 8lakhs.

Anyway whatsoever, if your family income has increased beyond the threshold, ideally you are not anymore eligible for the scheme.
