Hi Vivek Hirekar , as per your query of rise in the difficulty level of MH-CET in the PCB stream you should know that MH-CET 2019 Exam Pattern is released by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra and the questions in entrance exam will be based on syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education . Approximately 20% weightage will be given to class 11th curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to class 12th curriculum while setting the question paper.
Now coming to the difficulty level of Biology paper in the exam, It will not be same as the NEET and we all know that this is a state entrance exam, therefore, the difficulty level will not fall in the same range as that of NEET, because of the following reasons:-
• The question will be set on the whole syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects of class 12th.
• However, 10 questions from each subject will be based on class 11th.
• No marks will be deducted if you give wrong answers. This will be of great advantage for your scoring in the strong subject.
• Most of the questions will be asked directly and will require just your memory to solve it.
You can see the previous year papers of all the three subjects where you will find that the level of questions was basically simple and formula based. Mainly if you have prepared well for NEET then you will surely crack MH-CET entrance exam but just prepare well with the state board syllabus and time shall favour you in the coming entrance tests.
So don’t worry about the level of the exam paper just memorise your concepts and you will do the best in your exam, All my best regards for your upcoming time.
