Hi Rachana,
Yes liquid Ammonia water is first gold in ice before opening it. Vapour pressure of the ammonia at room temperature is very high and if the vapour pressure is not decreased then whole ammonia will evaporate. Cooling decreases the vapour pressure due to which the ammonia remains in the same state. This is the reason due to which bottle is first cooled and then opened.
