See totally as a fresher totally you have 3 attempts to write the JEE MAINS and 2 attempts for writing the JEE Advance but for you as you missed the opportunity in 2018. So totally you are left with 2 attempts for JEE Mains and 1 attempts for JEE Advance. Hope for the best.

You will be able to attempt JEE Main for 3 years, however since there are going to be some changes by NTA, I would advise you to wait for the official notification to check the correct figures. As for JEE Advanced, you will be able to attempt it for maximum two times in consecutive years. Hope this helps you.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2019 twice in a year according to the latest announcement by the MHRD minister Prakash Javadekar. So, as per that announcement, you will get 2 chances ( January & April) to give JEE Mains & best score from the two chances will be counted for JEE Advance which will be conducted once.
