mam I have have passed d pharma can i do admition in pharm D. after completed d pharma
According to the Pharmacy Council of India, D-Pharma is eligible for opting a course Pharma-D as you have two options it's your choice whether you choose first one or second one:-
- Either admitted to a bachelor's degree in 2nd year after D-pharma by lateral entry and then admitted to Pharma-D for PG. i.e. 3-year B-pharma and 3-year Pharma-D PG.
- Or to get admission in a complete course Pharma-D from the starting for 6 years including 1year hospital internship.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Candidates interested in pursuing the course are required to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
- A minimum aggregate score of 55% at both Higher and Senior Secondary levels (classes 10 th and 12 th ) completed from a recognized educational Board.
- Also, candidates should have completed the Senior Secondary level (class 12 th ) in the science stream, with a minimum aggregate score of 60% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
But you will have to choose among the two options: Either enroll in a bachelors degree in 2nd year directly after D. Pharm and then get enrolled in PharmD for PG.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck
