For admission to Engineering courses in IITs firstly, you will have to qualify the JEE Main entrance exam and then you can appear for JEE Advanced exam. You will have to qualify the cutoff of JEE Advanced required for admission.

JEE Advanced cutoff varies category wise, state wise, branch wise, and also on the basis of some other factors.
