Marks required to get MS from stri and prasuti tantra
Dear candidate,
1. MS in Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga (Ayurveda)
To pursue MS in Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga, you must have completed BAMS with at least 50% aggregate marks (general category). Admission is based on a postgraduate entrance exam, usually AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) or equivalent recognized state-level exams.
Your AIAPGET rank determines your chance of admission. For top Ayurvedic colleges, historical closing ranks for Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga seats are generally around 1200–1800 or better, depending on the category and college. Reserved category students often get slightly lower ranks due to relaxation in cutoffs. Higher BAMS marks and a strong AIAPGET rank significantly improve your chances.
2. MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Allopathic Medicine)
For Allopathic MS (OBG), you need to pass NEET PG after completing MBBS. Minimum percentile to qualify:
General: 50th percentile
Reserved (SC/ST/OBC): 40th percentile
Admission to top government colleges requires high NEET PG scores, often 500+ marks for general category candidates. Lower-ranked seats in later counseling rounds may be available in some colleges, but top-ranked seats in OBG are highly competitive.
