It's simple to understand. The higher you will score, the better percentile you will get. But as the percentile depends on number of students attempting for exam, and the highest percentile of four exams is considered for ranking. There are many students securing the same percentile. It's creating difficulty in ranks. And the students are selected on basic of ranking not percentiles.
