Maths is compulsory for bcom hons in srcc
Hello Bhairvi. Yes maths is compulsory for B. Com (Hons.) at SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce) because their elligibility criteria is that you must have maths in your class 12th and for getting admission in srcc you neet to give cuet-ug in which you need to opt for maths paper and it is compulsory. So in short for someone who has not had maths in their class 12th they are not elligible for B. Com (Hons) from srcc or any other DU college.
Hello Bhairivi
Here is the subject combinations u should have for bcom hons.
1) Any one language from list A + mathematics/applied mathematics+ any two subjects from list B
OR
2) Any one language from list A + accountancy/ book keeping + any two subjects from list B
So you fit in the second criteria if you have accountancy in class 12.
I hope this helps you
No, Mathematics is not required for BCom Hons at SRCC. To be eligible, you need to have completed 12th grade from a recognized board with the minimum percentage set by the college. Subjects like Commerce Accountancy Economics and English are recommended. Not having Mathematics will not prevent you from applying, but it may help in understanding statistics and economics at the college level.
