In general, fee for Mechanical engineering is 1.20lpa. for 4 years, it will be 4.80lpa. if you look out for accommodation, then there will be 30-35k additional expense per year.

top famous Private institute with good placement, will charge you around 2-3lpa where you will get good opportunity for job. Those colleges/universities acts as center for placement as they are located in the best place with good transportation.   fee structure also varies as per location. so you have to choose accordingly.
