mendel ke niyam scince answer paper
Johann Gregor Mendel (1822-1884), father of genetics, work on the garden pea (Pisum sativa) and discovered the law of inheritance. There are 3 law which together forms the Mendel Law's of Inheritance:-
Law of Segregation- This law states that during gamete formation, the allele for each gene segregate from each other so that each gamete carries only one allele for each gene. Example: monohybrid cross.
Law of Independent Assortment- It states that the alleles of two different genes get sorted into gametes independently of one another. In other words, the allele a gamete receives for one gene doesn't influence the allele received for another gene. Example:- dihybrid cross
Law of Dominance- An organism with an alternate form of genes. i.e. dominant and recessive, dominant gene will express over the recessive gene. Example:- F1 generation of a monohybrid cross.
At that time, Mendel's law is not appreciated until 1900 where 3 scientists rediscovered his work.
Hope it's help!!
