Yes, even with 53% in JEE Mains you can still get admission to B.tech programme. while admission to NITs, IIITS and other highly competitive institute may be difficult through JEE main counselling, many private University, state engineering College, and Institute with direct admission option accept student based on class 12th marks, state-level entrance exam, or their own admission criteria.

I would recommend exploring private engineering College in your state and participating in relevant counselling process. Also ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements, including the required subjects and minimum marks in class 12th.
