The INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) Scholarship in India is an initiative by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) aimed at promoting interest in science among students and fostering the pursuit of careers in research and innovation.

Coming to the Eligibility Criteria for INSPIRE Scholarship:

1. Students aged 17-22 years.
2. Top 1% of students in their 12th Board Examinations.
3. Students who have secured ranks within 10,000 in JEE (Main)/NEET.
4. Students who have secured ranks in the top 1% of national-level competitive exams like KVPY, JEE (Advanced), NEET.
5. Pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), Integrated M.Sc./MS programs in any recognized Indian institution.
   
   Now if you have scored 84% marks in class 12th board examination and if you are under 1% students in that respective board in that particular year then you will be eligible for this scholarship otherwise if you are fulfilling any of the above mentioned eligibility criteria then you are eligible for the scholarship.
