Hi,  Basically almost every engineering college in India has ruled up not to focus much on the 10-12 board marks as far as it is 60% or above. So regarding school academia, yes, you are qualified for a good college in Maharashtra. Maharashtra takes up  students for the admission to various colleges  either through MHcet or JEE Mains both of whose results are declared separately and have separate cut offs, Also if you have a domicile of Maharashtra ,your chance of getting a college  in comparison with a fellow student having  same percentile as yours, will be higher.Now let's talk about your JEE percentile. It being 49% there are not many colleges which you can turn up to, but they give reservations to certain category of people. But yes certain college do offer you seat with that percentile , also their are 2-3 rounds of counseling so if not in 1st round you can get a seat in second round.But I must tell you that the colleges you will be getting will not be much good, they will be either average of below it.
