metal article like spoon doesn't get electrified on rubbing because the charges on metal leak through our body to the ground as both are conductors of electricity then if charges flow through our body then why don't we get electric shock????
Hello there ,
By the formula V=ED where is Newton's per columb charge and D is the distance.
We only get a shock when the potential difference or V is high and in this case V is not sufficient as charge produced is very less and gets neutralised within our body itself. Hence there is no potential difference created and we don't get a shock.
I hope this helps.
