Method of purification of sols ?

There are various methods by which you can purify sols or colloids for that matter. Some of the techniques are-
* Dialysis- ions are removed from solutions via a permeable membrane, in this method.
* Electrodialysis- in this electric field is utilised for purification via dialysis.
* Ultra filtration- purification via ultra filter papers having very small pores.
* Electro decantation- this method is used in both, purification and concentration of sols.
