MHT CET APPLICATION FORM OF BTECH IS ONLY FOR MAHARATRA STUDENT OR OF OTHER ?

Criteria for Outside Maharastra State:

The aspiring candidate for this examination should be an Indian National and should have passed the H. Sc (10+2 Std.) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 50% marks.

MHT CET is conducted for other state candidates as well, but they are eligible for admission to private unaided institutions only. Also, only 15% seats are reserved for other candidates and seats will be first filled based on JEE Main scores. If seats remain vacant, they will be filled on the basis of MHT CET scores.

All the Students can apply for MHT CET exam.

For government colleges you need a domicile certificate of Maharashtra. Other students can apply for private colleges of engineering.

It is recommended that outside students should apply through JEE Main as they are preffered over MHT CET
