Minimum mark for admission in IIMs..?

IIMs take admission through CAT. When you taalk about IIM there are 20 of them. Being autonomous institutes, all of them have different criteria for giving calls to a candidate. Yes, some of them have strict percentage criteria like IIM shillong, which doesn’t give you a call below 70% in 10th and 12th, no matter how high you score in CAT. Then there are some new IIMs which doesn’t have such criteria.
Then there are also premier institutes like MDI, FMS, XLRI which doesn’t have any strict 10th or 12th percentage criteria but looks your overall profile along with your CAT percentile.
As per me, you should anyway aim for a higher score in 12th as more the better. Try to keep it above 70% and it will be not a bottle neck for getting call from any IIM.
After getting a call, its more of how you score in CAT, GD/PI performance and your profile.
