Hello Praneeth,

In order to get into the IITs, there is IIT Mains exam that is being conducted every year.

And with the increasing competition, the minimum mark is no longer a criterion.

Since the competition is a bit neck to neck, so the IITs generally select the TOP few hundred students only.
