What is the minimum marks required in JEE to get a good college

Hello student,

I think you are asking about NITs as for privates colleges there is lot of variation in cutoff as some give admission on donation too.

But still there are many private colleges which have high status and their cutoff goes very high.

If we speak broadly then you must score 95+ percentile even to get a above average college.

And If I had to guess how much you should score to get into an NIT as a general category student, I would say 97.5+ to get into an NIT with a decent branch placement.

For general category students , to secure seat in NITs,IIITs, GFTIs, a percentile of 97+ would help. As it goes beyond 97 more and more options increase better branch in better colleges.
