most basis need of any ecosystem .,please tell me

An ecosystem must contain producers, consumers, decomposer, and dead and inorganic matter. All ecosystems require energy from an external source – this is usually the sun. Plants need sunlight to photosynthesis and produce glucose, providing an energy source for other organisms. Living things that needs food to eat, water to drink, clean air to breathe, sunlight and safe habitat or shelter. Living things that need water, good soil, air, enough sunlight, and nutrients in order to grow.

Basis need of an ecosystem is the continues input of solar energy ,every living being on earth directly or indirectly is dependent upon every that derived from sun,plants make their food with the help of sun (photosynthesis),we human need plants as our food resource.
