Not really. The placements depend on various factors. As the Indian market is expanding worl-wide more and more CSE graduates are required. It does not depend how many opted for CSE rather than this it matters how many are really serious about it and are doing hard work.

Well as we know cse is most demanded so the job opportunities for the branch is fulfilled sooner but we cannot deny the fact that it has more opportunities.
We know that jobs are less and aspirants are more.
So yes that can be a drawback too.

See as per industry the cs it field is at its saturation but new jobs are being created as everything is going to be digitalised and hence jobs ll be there though competition will increase with time.
