Dear Aspirant,
If the original shape and the original data is preserved and the damage is something which has not barred the readability, then you can use it for all intents and purposes, however, if the document looks forged or not authentic, or main data is not visible, then you might found it hard to use it.
Hope this helps.
xeroxes of my 10th and 12th certificates before it got damaged. and also my damaged certificates clearly shows my PHOTO , my roll no. , my marks and all the remaining data like my name and all. But the thing is , it has been fixed by some transparent cello tape. , you know i am extremely panic regarding this.. your reply make me some stable. otherwise i would get an heart attack of thinking too much about my 10th and 12th certificate , because i did my graduation from distance education which i think is less valuable , the only qualification i possess which i did completely full time is my 10th and 12th . so i am extremely tensed now. ..
Do not get too much tension if you have digital copies also. Most of the communication now is digital, so you can use your scanned copies.
and all. But ..Will they have any objection if my original certificates are fixed by some transparent cello tape , even though all my information is clearly visible?.(Note:- Not the entire certificate contains tape but on the places where it is torn thats it). Please reply sir
