My aggregate in HSC exam in maharashtra is 55 percentage, marks obtained for PCM is less than 50%. whether I can study engineering

Yes you can join as there are colleges which keep 45% for the major subjects. Search for colleges in your state where you can join. Look for private college they are also good and provide quality education and high scope to the students to show their skills to the industries. It will be a chance for you so better use it fairly and improve yourself for betterment.
