my birthday date is 20/02/1992 , what will be the last year to apear for upsc ?
Hi,
The minimum and maximum age limit to attend UPSC examination is 21 and 32 years respectively.
- For general category and EWS Category, there is no age relaxation. So, can appear till 32 years.
- For OBC the age relaxation is 3 years i.e., 35 years.
- For SC/ST the age relation is 5 years i.e., 37 years.
As you didn't mention your category, if you belongs to general or EWS category then you can write the exam till 2024. ( This is calculated based on the date given by UPSC i.e., the candidate must not have attained the age of 32 on 1st August of the year of the exam. ).
Hope it helps!
Hello student,
Union public service commission each year conducts UPSC IAS examination. Also releases the eligibility criteria for that examination. Your age should be between 21 years to 32 years on the August 2022. So may be 2024 will be the last year to appear for this examination. Actually you have not mention that what is your category. Means if you belongs to general category there is no relaxation for age. If you belongs to OBC category will get a three year relaxation and if you are from SC ST category then you will get 5 years. If you are belonging from PWD category for some cases you will get 10 years relaxation. You can know more by click on the link below
