My brother got 88.9 percentile in jeemains.Can he able to get a seat in NIT?

Congratulations to your brother for that score he has secured. This year cutoff category wise was :-

1) GENERAL(COMMON RANK LIST)- 89.75

2)GENERAL EWS(ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION,family Income less than 8 lakhs per annum) - 78.21

3)OBC(Non Creamy Layer) - 74.31

4) Schedule Caste(SC) - 54.01

5)Schedule Tribe(ST) - 44.33

6)PWD - 0.11

To answer your query appropriately I would ask you to provide me with the category and Rank of your brother,instead of percentile.NIT's basically release their opening and closing rank every year and based on that we predict what chances do you stand this year.

to get admission in any NIT,candidate have to score more than 98 percentile.
