My cet2019 rank in veterinary is 8880 and I belong to SC .can I get the seat ?
Dear Aspirant,
It is a bit unlikely for you to get a seat for veterinary sciences in any of the good Institutes of Karnataka including all the government institutes. There are extremely limited number of seats available for veterinary sciences in the entire state of Karnataka. The number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants. The number of seats for Veterinary Sciences in the government colleges all together is close to 500. So I hope you understand the gravity of the situation that you are in right now. The government institutes provide admission to students who have secured the best rank holders in the state.
Although you belong to the SC or Scheduled Caste Category, still it is not going to help you in getting admission in a government college. The cutoff rank for SC students from urban area is close to 5000 and for SC students from rural area is close to 7000. You have scored a rank much higher than the cutoff rank and therefore it is less likely for you to get admission in a government college.
Right now, you should focus on some good private institutes of the state which offer admission to students of your rank. Before joining any of the private institutes, you should compare them against each other to know by yourself which is the better college for you to pursue graduation.
