My comedk rank is 4226. I am from jharkhand. In which colleges can i get CSE, IT. should i go with the colleges i m getting through comedk?

The placements have been good so far. Most of the well known MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc., visited the campus. This year, two students got placed with a package of Rs. 52 LPA in Microsoft. CSE placements have been good so far with 145 students from CSE getting placed in tier-1 colleges out of 300. ECE placements were okay. Around 28 students got placed in tier-1 colleges and around 75 in tier-2 out of 200. The highest placement package offered was Rs. 32 LPA for ECE students.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of PES University is good. The campus has 2 libraries with plenty of reference books. All the classrooms have LCD displays which makes teaching more effective. All the lectures are recorded, and students can make use of it for better understanding. Labs and classrooms are clean and tidy with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Food provided in the canteen is good, and both non-vegetarian and vegetarian food items are served. Food is delicious. Wi-Fi connectivity is average in classrooms. I am a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel, but I heard that the facilities are good. Overall, the infrastructure is good. I feel it would be much better after the construction of the new block.

Faculty : Faculty members in PES are very good. I am a mechanical student. The faculty members use both PPTs and chalkboard to teach, which I feel is a good way to share knowledge. Most of the teachers have doctorate degrees from prestigious institutions like IISC and IIT. Industrial exposure is good. We were taken to industries related to the metal casting (in 3rd semester). It was good to see and observe the practical applications of the knowledge we gained in classes. PES has a different course curriculum specially designed for effective learning.

Other : Many events are conducted throughout the year. Prakalpa is the science exhibition, Samarpan is a run tribute to the braveheart soldiers and a grand Aatma Trisha are conducted on the campus. PES University offers scholarships to all students having above 8.5 SGPA, and 15% of the tuition fee is waived off.
