hello anand,
as the rank you secured in the JEE-MAIN is ok
but the one with the rank cannot merge with better college of NITs as the NITs select as the only merit list of the students
till you have a chance .if you are a member of north side states such as meghalaya,jammu kashmir,agartala....etc you have a chance of get in the NIT
