Hello Joy ,
It's very difficult to get seat in NIT colleges with the CRL rather than than category rank.
It's may not even possible in low ranking NIT colleges
Please check the eligibility for NIT colleges in the link attached.

Dear Aspirant, at this rank you might get all the top NITS except NIT Surathkal, Warangal and Tiruchillapali according to previous year's trends. Your category rank is very good.
As per the previous year cutoffs you have a good chance of getting medium ranked NITs such as NIT Nagpur, NIT Rourkela, NIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut,etc for the preferred branch.
You can also get some good IIITs such as IIIT Jabalpur, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Allahabad, etc.
