Yes there are chances of your getting admission in the leading institute (nits)with information technology branch.
As cutoff varies year to year there can be changes in the colleges closing rank but still you can get admission into some northeast nits like nit aizawal , nit nagaland , nit manipur here you have to wait for the spot round as information technology is one of the core branches so its cutoff is high .
