My date of birth is 29.01.2013.Am i eligible for class 9th registration in CBSE board

For class 9th registration in CBSE Board, a candidate must be 14 years old or we can say that a candidate should born in between 1st April 2011 and 31st March 2012. You were born on 29 Jan. 2013, therefore you are not eligible for academic year 2025-26.

If your date of birth is 29.01.2013, you will be too young for Class 9 registration right now. You will not meet the age requirement for Class 10 in the coming years.

As your Date of Birth is 29 January 2013, you will be 12 years old as of March 2025 and turn 13 in January 2026. As per CBSE guidelines, the recommended minimum age to get admissions in Class 9th is 14 years old as of 31st March of that year. So your DOB means you are 2 years younger than the recommended age set by CBSE.

Most schools won't allow admissions at this age unless there are special permissions.
