As she has scored 997 rank in GATE she can either go for higher studies like Mtech/ME/MS/PHD/PGDM through gate.Even she can apply for MS at foriegn university of singapore and germany through GATE.

So it depends whether she have to study or do job.She can even apply for PSUs.

Though the application process of almost all PSUs are about to end but still she may apply.

By applying for CCMT counselling she can take admission at IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.
