My DOB is 02 May 1997. Am I eligible for upsc cds 2 2021??

Hello Aspirant,

As per the current eligibility criteria released by UPSC for CDS 2021 the candidate should be between the age of 20-24 years , so according to this eligibility criteria for CDS 2021 you are eligible for CDS 2021 because now you are 24 years old and this will be the very last year for which you will be eligible for CDS.

The applying candidate should be between the age of 20-24 years and you were born on May 2nd 1997 so according to your DoB your age will be around 18 years at the time off application for CDS 2021.

Apart from the age criteria there are some other eligibility criteria which needs to be cleared :-

> Applying candidate should be an Indian citizen/a Tibetan refugee (before January 1962)/a subject to Nepal or Bhutan/Migrants from Pakistan, Burma, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, with the intention of permanently settling in India

> Candidate must be unmarried because married candidates are only allowed for Officers Training Academy course.

> You should be graduated at least with Bachelor's degree.
