My friend and I both applied for mhtcet 2019 today, I had to pay 1300 along with late fee but my friend payed 800 how is this possible

Dear Akshar, if you are from General Category, then your application fees is Rs. 800 and along with the late fees of Rs. 500, it is Rs. 1300. But if your friend is from Reserved Category, his application fees and late fees amount will be lesser. The application fees for Reserved Categories is Rs. 600 and late fees amount is Rs. 200. Hence his fees comes upto Rs. 800.
