my friend got 57% in 12th board exam and 9000 rank in jee mains.can he got any nit or any other good engineering collage with this %

With this percentage you won't get good engineering college and my concern with your subjects foundation . According to your percentage in class 12 you won't get A or B level IT companies in Placement time because they require above 60 or 70 percentage overall.

And why he is  think only engineering degree for his career look for other options too.

No he not got the nit or I think not a gov college   because they want 70% in pcm that is the eligibility criteria
