my friend scored 49.7 percentile in cat..will he get call from any bschool?

Well to be very honest, there is a very low chance that he will be getting any calls from the BS school.
Although what he can do is, he can apply for the BS schools and along with the application, tell him to show his extracurricular activities that he has done in the past. Because there are high chances that sometimes these schools give preference to the students who have shown some exemplary efforts in other fields as well.
