My Gate 2019 score is 586 in ME, GN. In which colleges can I apply?

Hey Abhishek, You have managed to get a considerable score in GATE for Mechanical Branch in general category but this score out of 1000 is not good enough to get you into any of the good IITs.

For most of the old IITs, the previous year cutoffs were above 700 marks out of 1000 for mechanical branch.

Even some of the good NITs are also not available to you on the basis of the previous year cutoffs.

NITs like MNNIT, Allahabad and MANIT, Bhopal had previous year cutoffs above 600 marks out of thousand for the open category.
