MY GATE SCORE IS 278 (sc). what chances do i have in future for mtech or jobs? any suggestions?

It might be tough for you to get into all the government colleges as they set a really high cutoff for Computer Science. As for an opportunity in the PSUs, you could have a chance to get to NLC.
