my iit mains rank is 10797.iit advance marks are 150. should i prepare for one year more?

It depends how content are you with your performance. If you think you done an OK sort of work, then I will suggest you not to take a drop. But if you think you have done OK but it was way lower than your expectation than drop can be considered. But having disappointment with your performance is not enough to make a call. You need to self introspect that what went wrong this time, and find the improvements that needs to be done with you for a better performance. After that if you think you have the required energy and courage to implement the above requirments and you are willing to work hard and putting your best for one more year than you should go for it with no second thought.
