My jee advance rank is 2380 and obc is 328 but I am interested in cse is there any chance of getting into top iits even in secondcounselling

Yeah thank you very much..but I am looking for top 5 iits ...hoping for best..Chennai Delhi kharaKhar Bombay Roorkee.like that..could you please suggest the ways to do..even in second counselling also I am hopping for the top ones.

In Chennai, Delhi and Bombay, The chances are low as the closing rank is always in double digit. You have good chances for CSe at Roorkee in the second or third list.
Kharagpur , you might get in through 4th or fifth list. You can get IIT Guwahati easily through first lost only. You also have good chances to get BHU Varanasi which is now an IIT. You also have really good chances get CSE at IIT Dhanbad.

Is it good waiting for upto 5 the councelling..What is the situation if I won't till 5 the councelling . actually if I won't get cs  I will opt  for ECE which is in Roorkee. But if I wait for 5 th councelling or 4 th.what would be my chances of getting atleast ece.I am thinking in this way for selecting colleges1.Cs for first 5 Bombay,Chennai,Delhi Kharagpur, roorke..I knew I won't get this on first attempt.2. Cs for guhawti3. Ece for roorkeSo like this I will get cs gauhati in my first councelling.But if I go for upto 4 in the same way of opting colleges. I would loose the first oppurtunuty..of getting cs.How to go for opting colleges.please suggest me in this.  

See, You are getting many other good courses at any IIT . You also have seats available at IIT madras for your rank. I would suggest you to decide what your prefer. A better colleges or your favourite course. IIT madras and Bombay are worldwide known better than others. I would recommend you to keep your first option a course from these IIT. You can take ECE from these as they are quite excellent. So two of your preference done. Then select IIT Guwahati and ISM Dhanbad for CSE. Both are Amazing colleges. Your fifth option could be CSE at IIT Delhi or IIT madras or IIT Bombay for which you might get a chance only after few rounds. Waiting till the next round could be hazardous as you might lose the seat that could be alloted in first round and there are high chances of not having a seat remaining after first round in CSE.

Yeah thank you for your valuable suggestion. My choices are always between CSE and then ECE but I found that only four colleges are offering ECE in IIts .roorke Gauhati Dhanbad and another college. So I am struggling in the selection of my colleges. And on different courses I am guy who intrst in software jobs. What my idea is if I get a chance in cs or ece so I can get into software job easily . I have checked that for mechanical I can get into Madras but I am afraid of not getting software job in mechanical. Which is different from those. Thanks in advance.

Mechanical is not only Hardware based. After completing Bachelor's, you can do Masters in Design and sort and enter Designing. A relative of mine followed this path and is working for a automobile company designing their systems and models using software etc.

Good morning Vinesh..after all I choose my preference but only one doubt left for me.i have option for Kharghpur electronic and electrical communication engineering as they say it as ece but I have little doubt in that whether it is eee or ece and anothe one is guahati cs. I am struggling to choose between even though I am interested in cs but ece also okay for me.my main concern is Pacemaent and package and learning scope.please help me .
