Greetings aspirant,
As per your percentile score in JEE Mains 2020 and in consideration that you belong to general category, you're not likely to clear JEE Mains 2020 cut-off. The cut-off is alleged to be 89+ percentile for general category but there might a situation where the cut-off comes down as well. But as per the current situation, you won't be eligible for admission in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. You can try for private engineering colleges that accept JEE Mains score. I also suggest you to prepare for April phase of JEE Mains 2020 and try to perform better. I have provided a link below that you can use to predict your colleges as per your JEE Mains score.

Good luck.
As you said that you belong to general category and your score in 86 which is a percentile, so chance getting a seat is probably low. But that doesn't mean that you will not get the seat, since it is percentile so need not to worry. While doing choice entry in the JOSAA kindly go through the cut offs of all the college and prefer the college suitable to your score. Hope you get admitted in one of the best colleges.
ALL THE BEST.
Considering your percentile your expected rank will be around 99023.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula given below
(100-total percentile)*869190/100
In your case it is
(100-88.605)*869010/100=99023
With such rank it is difficult to get a seat in NITs.However, you have good chances of qualifying for JEE advanced. So it is better if you prepare for JEE advanced.
You can predict the colleges which you may get by using the link below
And kindly mention your state as the cut off is different for home state candidates and other state candidates so that we may help you further.
