Well, basing upon your rank in JEE MAINS, you may not get admission into NITs in core branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science engineering, etc.But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling since you're a OBC candidate and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting your desired college are high.
