My jee mains 2019 rank is 118997 in CRL. So, is it worth participating in CSAB counselling to get CSE Branch in any decent NIT?

I regret to inform you that with such a low score its difficult for you to get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits with computer science branch.
As computer science is one of the core branches as well as nits are one of the most sought after college in feild of engineering so they have high cutoffs for the candidates to get admission.
Either you take part in any other councelling process or take admission into any reputed private institutes with your desired branch.

To get colleges through CSAB counselling, one should be JEE Main qualified as per his/her category and should also have a valid rank. Now as per your rank of 118997 in JEE Main, it will be difficult for you to get a seat in CSE branch in any of the NITs. But still you can attend the counselling session and see what other branches are you getting. I will suggest you to attend the counselling session of CSAB and see which colleges and branches are you getting. You may not get your choice of college or branch but still go through it and you will have a idea regarding the spot round counselling. You can again repeat JEE Main next year or use your JEE Main score to get admission into other colleges where they accept JEE Main score. To get admission in those particular colleges, you have to attend the respective colleges counselling processes.

Hello there. Considering the fact that you got that rank in CRL and without any reserved categories, it's difficult to grab any seat in decent NIT. You can look out for some lower considered NIT but for the upper and decent NIT it's quite impossible to grab a seat even in csab counseling. But their is always a luck factor so you should try who knows what happen at later stage.
