my jee mains crl rank is 246125 and st rank is 4179. my jee advanced st rank is 988. I want to appear for Upsc exams.shall I drop a year ?

Taking a drop would be waste of a year .so i will suggest to take admission this year and keep preparing for upsc simultaneously.
