My JEE mains rank in St category is 16900.can I get nit institute? And also,can I get a placement through josaa?

Given your category rank, it is highly unlikey that you wil secure a seat in top NITs. However, depending on your home state, you may have a chance to secure a seat in an NIT.
For example, if your home State is Mizoram, then the closing rank of NIT Mizoram, Civil Engineering is 33, 567! So while chances of securing a seat in NIT are tough, they aren't impossible!
