my mark's is 49.8% and i belong to general category can i get admission in CAT

Dear Neela, CAT official brouchure says that for General Category Students, the minimum aggregate in their Bachelor's degree should be 50%. It is 45% for Reserved Categories. And unfortunately there is no rounding of percentages to the nearby number. CAT allows you to enter the decimals and so that rules you out for appearing for CAT. You may have to appear for improvement exams, if there is an opportunity to do so.
