My maths is somewhat weak then also should i go for engineering computer science branch?

Dear Aspirant,

You are weak in mathematics. But you have interest in computer science and engineering. Don't worry about it. You can definitely recover yourself in college life by the help of your batch mates, seniors and respective facility members of your college.

I can give a example of a boy who was my school friend. He was weak in mathematics. He got only 65 marks in mathematics in his 12 th board examination.

All of his friends, teachers said that he is a failure. He can not do anything in his life.His life is worthless.

But he studied Hard and cracked the joint entrance examination Main with an All India Rank 655!!!!!

Now he is a 2nd student of computer science and engineering in National institute of technology, Durgapur. Last year,his sgpa was 9.45!!He got the highest mark in mathematics in his batch.

So don't worry.work hard and you will definitely get success in your life.

Hope you are doing well!! See basically in engineering not only in computer science engineering but in other branches too there is maths and it will be there initially for 2 years.  And if you want to persue engineering then you should have a proper grip in maths because in engineering i.e in starting phase you will be dealing with differentiation, derivatives, integration, matrices etc and the strength of the subject will level up when you will promoted to other semesters. And regarding your query see if you want to persue engineering maths is important and it is also important in BSC. In my point of view you should watch some online tutorial on your weak topics if you feel that you can clear it up with time then you can do engineering. Rather than it will be quiet difficult to have perfection in every subjects. Hope these will help you regarding any query feel free to ask in comment section.

It is not that important to be good at maths to pursue engineering in computer science. Though maths will be included for 1 or 2 years, depending upon the curriculum of the university you take admission in.

But the maths in engineering is not that tough.

I am in the final year of engineering in computer science, I was also weak in maths, but I managed to pass.



So,don't worry. You can do it.

Yes you can still go for computer engineering because maths will be a part of your course in initial two years only, usually for three semesters.

Maths won't continue to be a part of your studies after that.

Yes, the level of difficult is quite high but through proper understanding and practice you can achieve good marks.
