I have my fathers initial in 10th marksheet and husbands name as surname in aadhar card. I have applied for passport and scheduled a document verification. So now, do I need to change my name in aadhar card from my husbands surname to my fathers ? .....or is it okay not to change.

Hello Dear,

You need no to submit your fathers details while making passport. The online passport application form now requires the applicant to provide the name of father or mother or legal guardian, i.e., only one parent and not both. So need not to worry.
