Hello student. Though you wasted time in your 1st year, nothing to worry. With proper efforts and time management tou can get good nit with desired branch.

first boards are equally important too, don't leave those. At the same time, 12th subjects are important to get good Mark's in mains. So donot neglect them.

concentrate on 12th subjects during class time. In the time of evening or the free time, make a plan so that you would be able to cover 11th subjects. As in not the theoretical part. Mains wise preperation. Bits wise.

Sundays, make sure you read the concepts that have higher weightage in your 11th

Take topic wise tests, mock tests. Be thorough with ncert text books first.

Put in the best efforts you can, you will be able to pull it through
